[Don't think there will be much as they only have one service that operates at present - 710]
That's a shame, means I'll have to go to Alnwick at some point to phoo them Smile Having said that its usually the same coach on 710 every time, RIL3908

A bit of a minor incident / embarrassment in Alnwick Bus Station for Glen Valley Tours yesterday. Apparently the back wheel on one of their Solos caught fire whilst on the 473. A passenger phoned the fire brigade and 2 fire engines turned up to the bus station. I hope the Arriva bus in the background wasn't in a hurry to leave.

A recent purchase for Glen Valley is VDL Bova Futura YJ09FHU from Coach Options.
Not sure what it's replaced
Glen Valley have a brand new Volvo B11R Jonckheere JHV ER15GVT - 53 seater delivered a few weeks ago.
Did not know that buses with a Hannover display run on the 710
been doing a bit of a tour about and i got talking to the driver of 470 from alnwick and he said that the company are looking for a replacement for KF51 UFD as it doesn't meet the DDA regulations.

when i was talking to dave who is usually on the 464 from berwick said that in march time glenvalley are updating their fleet and that means the 52 reg solo's will most likely go and 51 reg plaxton beaver will go as well.

p.s if i had possession of a voice recorder which i don't i would have recorded what he said
