Does anybody know when the photo page is going to be working again? as its been off for at least a week now.
Thanks
Morning all,
I am creating a reminder for the Northern National Restoration Group's annual running day, which is to be held on Sunday 21st May. The vehicle used will be ex-Go North East Volvo B10BLE/Wright Renown 4855 (R855 PRG). Departure from Chester-le-Street will be at 1100, then a blast along the A1(M) and a pick-up in Newcastle on Bewick Street around 1130. Following this, the route will follow the ex-OK 684 route to Ovington, with photo stops planned along the way, and then we will return to Newcastle where passengers will be dropped off again, as well as Chester-le-Street. Only the one bus is planned to be used this year, so if you are going to attend, can you please vote in the poll I have attached, or comment below. Under 16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Thank you.

Arriva North East are to start using a fleet of articulated vehicles on the Great North Road services 43/44/45, buses will leave from John Dobson Street instead of Haymarket and will be curtailed to run Dinnington/Cramlington to Newcastle only, due to infrastructure constraints.
The new fleet is expected to be launched in June, under the ArrivaFrequent brand...
The official press release from Arriva can be found here.
Info from North East Bus Preservation Trust Facebook page:

I was loath to create another thread in a quiet part of the forum. But what the heck! We only live once.
The world's first ship tunnel is to be constructed in Norway.
Quite a feat if/when it comes off.
