About time Tongue

When was the last time 5253 was repainted, with you updating the fleet list/news area... all the history has gone Tongue

2013 as 5253 was formerly on the Cobalt Clipper before the B9s arrived.

Im guessing it will go Black for the Changes to the Toonlink 31/32 depending on what they are, otherwise no idea.

Thanks Malarkey.

I'll go with black to, some reason i think GNE have completely changed their ordinal plans for the Toonlink changes... Tongue

I think GNE will stop with the interworking of the services...

If not black then.... Red for Go North East

Throwing it out there, Green possibly for highwayman   Idea

Could be, along with the 4 from Percy Main? - although this depends on the PVR of the routes (its currently 11), and if the routes will be rebranded after changes occur.

Black, so that the affected services are thrown into the same brand as the 11/31 and 32 maybe?

That seems a good idea, brand the 96/97 routes as ToonLink, since they wanted both services to serve Newcastle....

It was just a throwaway thought - that sort of makes sense (to me anyway).
On paper, it may not - as I haven't checked to see what else, could make up the balance of the fleet.

Ye, i was looking through the allocations and all i can see is, if the Scania's are replaced by omni's, that means the scania's will go Stanley/Percy Main to make up the numbers at those depots... not sure if Stanley have ever had Scania's?

We'll just have to wait and see what colour it comes out of SM and when the changes appear on the site or even VOSA... might be a bit easier....

Are we hinting at the Cobalt Connect getting New Buses here Michael, to be fair the Branding for the 19 could with being updated to be in line with the same design as the Cobalt Clipper with the added extras such as Wifi etc.

Nope, Percy Main currently have 4 Northern Omi's  Tongue

I do agree though that it should be updated to the same livery as the Cobalt Clipper...

I don't think we'll see the Omni's move just yet, unless at least 1 of them is going on the ToonLink for its upcoming changes....

I also think the Highwayman services will temporarily use the scania's until new/newer buses become available along with them being branded something new.

Not sure if anyone else can confirm.... However I'm sure I saw the StreetDeck Demo vehicle coming out of Cambois into Sleekburn this morning. I was to far away to see fleet number, but I'm almost certain it was.

Now in this remote area there is only Arriva's Service 34 which operates between Bedlington Stn and Ashington, so I'm not sure why it was out here, unless it was just out for a drive... maybe on Driver Familiarisation duties perhaps ??

Is it having anything done at Thorntons..? Thorntons usually test drive vehicles in the local area.

It could also be a little test of it on the 19, then taking it for a little test through Cambois etc...?

Which should be allocated to the 9, but never are.

I think the next batch of Omnidekkas from Brighton will allow for various Cascades to occur come the end of October.

What interests me are those diamonds you can see near the bottom left of the coach, they look the same colour as the blue mercs are, anyone have any idea?

Don't think eight would be enough for the 96/97 - the PVR would be 10+ I'd imagine.

But there would be a perfect number for the 17, and would get rid of the B10BLEs so can see that happening.
