Does he still 'whip out his wotsit' at any given opportunity?

RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - August 2015 - LeeCalder - 01 Aug 2015

You haven't heard the robotic NSAs on the Arriva 22, then.

Your next stop is... Milburngit?

Your next stop is... Leeeezeeeees road.

Your next stop is... Cottages. West.

Your next stop is... Arsey Church.

i much prefer the human radio presenters that GNE use.

I used to love listening to Night Owls. Don't get the chance these days, or I'd be asleep at work haha.

Think so! Was that the main quiz each show? Only entered once ever!

See although I like the voiceovers on the Red Kite and Coast & Country, I certainly favour a local accent. As long as that doesn't extend to anyone out of Geordie Shore...

Would be nice if Ant & Dec did the NSA would give the sound a lot more note or Cheryl Fernandez Versini although her music would make the passengers deaf the ones who don't listen to her tunes

Just wondering what the point is of an east Durham bus having an "adopt with Gateshead" ad on the back.

I'm not sure how much involvement larger bus operators have in the decision-making of choosing which adverts to show on which buses?

As I understand it (but I may be incorrect), larger bus operators supply external advertising companies (such as Exterion Media) with a fleet list which contains details of where vehicles are based and the vehicle types (which in turn will provide the company with details of the advertising boards each bus has - if any). I believe the external advertising company deals with everything henceforth, with bus operators receiving payment once the external advertising company takes their cut.

Does anybody know if the free travel at tomorrows Quaylink launch will be a day return or a 3 zone plus day ticket?

Yes, I just kept going out of the bus and coming back with another goodie bag! Cool

RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - August 2015 - Tom - 02 Aug 2015

Is it where Eldon Square is on Grangier Street or further down? Might head over for a bit before I go to Hexham.

RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - August 2015 - S813 FVK - 02 Aug 2015

I am going to make an effort to go to this one. If i do go, i wont be going just because of the event and unlike some, i will only take one goodie bag rather than wasting several marketing resources by getting loads and loads.

Doing exactly that with Sid

Might try Acomb though as the 680 and 682 go there and it is a change from the bus station.
