If you download it and look at it closely, look at the number codes at the top:

1=BH only
2= Sunday only

I'm sure that will be a mistake... it'll still run every half hour all day - just jointly worked by Jesmond and Blyth

Pretty big mistake to make and one which ought to be fixed straight away. If DaveyBowyer can identify the gaps according to the timetable, it'll not be long before customers realise too.

RE: Arriva North East: Upcoming Service Changes - L469 YVK - 08 Mar 2015

Aw right, so will them be codes for the depot then for the workings? I was going to say, they'll need to remove them numbers as the passengers will panic when they first see them.

RE: Arriva North East: Upcoming Service Changes - omnicity4659 - 08 Mar 2015

(08 Mar 2015, 3:50 pm)DaveyBowyer What will the allocation be for the 306 / 308 on a Sunday? I know that according to the timetable, there is a 2.5 hour hap in service from Tynemouth to Newcastle twice on a Sunday then a couple of various other gaps on a Sunday too from Newcastle to Tynemouth. Hope Percy Main keeps their B9s in good nick as they're gunna be hammered with the lack of 306s on a Sunday and better timekeeping? That's rubbish as there will be 1/2 hour gaps between Billy Mill and Newcastle and the 308 will get hammered still.

If Blyth and Jesmond get it right, StreetLites and Hybrid Geminis

Seems most services are going to MAX... Is the passenger numbers decent on these routes, what buses will they use?

What buses will the X26/X27 use when its graded to MAX?

Can anyone please give me a list of current MAX and Sapphire routes within the NE? (also a list of upcoming upgrades?), Thanks =D

Thanks tyresmoke, more routes than i expected.

Hopefully when the 22 goes to Sapphire it will gain more passengers, shame they can't do that to the X21.

Just hope that we don't run into capacity issues than can't be fixed quickly... We were able to fix some of the issues on the 7 and the 5 by running duplicates. The 7 is getting E400's to help boost capacity and hopefully solve the problem!

Which service is the Sunderland to Peterlee section the busiest... X21/22/23?

Hopefully that happens on the 22, i read on here i think, once the 7 went Sapphire, passenger numbers went up quickly.

Not particularly...
The X21 arrives and departs Sunderland empty most of the time outside of peaks. The morning peak run operated by Stockton tends to have more than the normal Darlington peak run, but it's still far from great. No more than ten on this run, usually.
Services 22/23 carry more or less the same amount of passengers now. The old 24 service used to carry more passengers than the 23, but it seems to have evened out with the 23 improving since the Streetlites entered service.

Peterlee - Durham is the busy section on the 22. I'd assume that it's being upgraded to "Sapphire" specification with the hope of improving passenger numbers...

Thanks Dan, i might have a ride on the Arriva services during the 6 weeks holidays.

I do hope when the 22 goes to Sapphire, numbers go up, i think they should go to the Sunderland Echo and advertise the services.

RE: Arriva North East: Upcoming Service Changes - Jimmi - 13 Mar 2015

(13 Mar 2015, 7:41 pm)Michael Is the Sunderland to Peterlee section busy on the X21/22/23, which service is the busiest?

Hopefully that happens on the 22, i read on here i think, once the 7 went Sapphire, passenger numbers went up quickly.

I'd say the 22/23 gets okay passenger numbers but nothing spectacular compared to the GNE 60/61 on the section between Sunderland and Peterlee. X21 is sadly a ghost town most of the time apparently which is a shame, I did the 1615 X21 from Sunderland once and it carried me and one other passenger who got off somewhere along the 21 route in Peterlee.

The 7 I thought was reasonably busy before Sapphire but I think the passenger numbers have shot up on the 7 since it's upgrade to Sapphire although I think other factors helped boost the numbers on the 7 such as the DurhamGate development as there often seems to be passengers boarding/alighting at that stop. More people seem to be using the Darlington Town Centre - Harrowgate Hill section on the 7 and other services I think than before.

I would hope Sapphire does increase the numbers on the 22 and hopefully the new developments at Dalton Park will draw people to use the 22.
