Everyone knows it at the Conference, and I suspect many people will still call it the Conference after the "rebranding" of the league.I could not agree more fella... If it looks like a turd and smells like a turd...then guess what brother, it is a turd... Therefore The Conference will always be the Conference to me, I know a couple of people who still call it the Alliance ... All this is going to do is cause a gulf between the Step 2 and Step 3 Leagues downover... RE: 2014-15 Football Season(Who will be the best North East Team) - idiot - 07 Apr 2015 Can I join in predictions? The sad thing is, a lot of teams could have been the subject matter and not just NUFC. RE: 2014-15 Football Season(Who will be the best North East Team) - Michael - 10 Apr 2015 (10 Apr 2015, 11:46 am)Andreos1 http://www.theguardian.com/football/picture/2015/apr/07/david-squires-on-mike-ashleys-reign-at-newcastle Lmao, tbh that's Mike Ashley all over... wanna bet the boycott doesn't happen this week? RE: 2014-15 Football Season(Who will be the best North East Team) - Andreos1 - 10 Apr 2015 (10 Apr 2015, 11:47 am)Michael Lmao, tbh that's Mike Ashley all over... wanna bet the boycott doesn't happen this week? It will happen. I have no idea whether it will be just a handful of people who miss the game or if it will be a few thousand mind. RE: 2014-15 Football Season(Who will be the best North East Team) - Michael - 10 Apr 2015 (10 Apr 2015, 11:52 am)Andreos1 It will happen. Wow, that's gonna hit Mike Ashley in the pocket... no one should turn up..... RE: 2014-15 Football Season(Who will be the best North East Team) - Andreos1 - 10 Apr 2015 (10 Apr 2015, 11:53 am)Michael Wow, that's gonna hit Mike Ashley in the pocket... no one should turn up..... A lot of people have their season ticket on long term packages, but refuse to spend on food/drink once in the ground. RE: 2014-15 Football Season(Who will be the best North East Team) - Adrian - 10 Apr 2015 (10 Apr 2015, 11:53 am)Michael Wow, that's gonna hit Mike Ashley in the pocket... no one should turn up.....What's the alternative, Michael? Surely it's better to lose a fight fighting, rather than to go down without a fight? I think it can be won, but it needs to be more than a one game boycott. It needs to be mass sustained action from the ground up. We've seen how much they hate negative press (look at all the media bans), so they key to it has to be to make enough noise to constantly flood the nationals... 2014-15 Football Season(Who will be the best North East Team) - MrFozz - 10 Apr 2015 Has Newcastle fans never thought about taking any boycott plans a step further, going down the FC United route, going back to basics, back to grassroots and forming a breakaway, worked well for FCUM fans, quite successful on the pitch, about to move into there own new ground. Would breaking away ever be an option, the prospect of a fan owned club, even if it was down in the murky depths of non-League football would surely sound appealing to some RE: 2014-15 Football Season(Who will be the best North East Team) - LeeCalder - 11 Apr 2015 In other news away from the Premier League... Gateshead today face 7th place Woking at Kingfield. Although the Tynesiders have all but realised the play offs are not to be reached, Gary Mills wants to get a under the heed's belt |
