(13 Mar 2014, 7:20 pm)Tom Hope the ''Whey-aye-Five-0'' won't be ''Coaster'' style, liked the livery on the Scanias.

I have a feeling it will be, =(

It will be too confusing but 'Whey Aye Five 0' in that text in between 2 wheels? I think it might be a little bit squashed.

Not really, as the Whey aye five-0 should go no where near the the Drifter and Coaster.

They may do the writing smaller so they can have it the style as the Drifter and Coaster

Well technically, both services use Omnicities with a similar base and although quite rarely, I suppose they will make it onto some Newcastle routes and all Chester-based routes that go to Newcastle go through Gateshead the same route as the 1. I just don't think they would want to do something like that. My opinion though.

I think rather than the brand solely being based on South Shields and the Beach, GNE should include the Durham end of the Route, i.e. usage of the Cathedral or Railway Bridge would be great, whilst maintaining the "Sunny" Theme, so it's 50/50 when it comes to the Brand, which would tie into the Route Number #CleverMarketingTipsOnNEB

I'm not sure why you've used Middlesbrough when they were the last North East major club to win a domestic trophy

Newcastle won the championship in 2010. Tongue

(13 Mar 2014, 10:28 pm)Bazza Houston well they have only won 1 trophy we have won 2

And Newcastle have won 10 major domestic honours.

However, the last major win came in 1955 (and Sunderland in 1973) so I wouldn't really be extolling the virtues of that success over more recent achievements.

RE: Go North East - Latest - MurdnunoC - 13 Mar 2014

(13 Mar 2014, 10:34 pm)aureolin Newcastle won the championship in 2010. Tongue

And the Intertoto Cup in 2006.

But they haven't done that with the Drifter or the Coaster. The seaside theme is kept and the only thing that is different about the livery is the fact that the Drifter lighthouse is red and white (presumably something to do with Sunderland) and the Coaster lighthouse is white. Therefore, I cant see them doing it now either.

Saw one of the X36 Solars at about half 12ish in Boldon - the front looked like the bus was kneeling down, and the back of the bus was standing up off the axle about a foot or two foot higher than usual - think there might be something wrong with the bus?
