I didn't relies any of the 29 services were secured by nexus anymore?  I though GNE were running them commercially?

I would say nobody, it's a complete waste of time. Even the unique stretches are extremely quiet.

Their Streetlite on the 516 hasn't had it's electronic display working since they won the contract, runs around with a piece of A4 paper in the windscreen saying "516". Not very useful for the elderly people who the route is for.

That doesn't sound very organised. A piece of A4 paper in the windscreen saying 516 doesn't sound adequate. The service is quite infrequent, does it get many passengers?

Actually it would make more sense to use an Optare for that service, as from observations on certain 5 Journeys I usually count over 10 passengers on-board.
