(28 Apr 2016, 6:19 pm)citaro5284 Never seen anything on VOSA.  If withdrawn from June, it should have been on VOSA by now I would have thought.

If the 11 was ever to be fully withdrawn, would any areas lose any connections?, not from the area so don't really know the area's.

As i thought the route the 11 does, is covered by a few other services.

Don't they have to register any changes within 56 days? If it is true I'd imagine it be on VOSA by end of next week...

The Loop still has the old style brand on its timetable.
The 5 still isn't under the "Whey aye Five-0" brand.

I'd imagine the 10, 12 and red kite services would pick up the slack

They have indiGo timetables on the buses though.

Doubt the 11 will be withdrawn, the 47 wouldn't cope with loadings if it did imo.

Its just the same when Indigo was launched in East Durham, online was still east durham timetables and on the bus was indigo, just give GNE time to sort it out

High Spen would lose its day time bus service, Its only just lost its night time service with the 47 service changes last week.

Does the 47 not go through any more? If not I doubt the 11 will be withdrawn.

Yes, the 47 does indeed still serve High Spen. The only change a couple of weeks ago was that it would no longer serve the Bus Stand on evening and Sundays.

Ah ok cheers, still can't see the 11 being withdrawn really though.

(28 Apr 2016, 6:09 pm)JP6004 RUMOUR ALERT: Apparently the 11 is being withdrawn from June???

I read that on another non-bus related forum.  Think it was a post by a driver as well!

It's always struck me as a bit of an undeciided route.  I think the capacity is probably needed on the Newcastle/MetroCentre to Crawcrook corridoor, but then where do you send the bus after Crawcrook?  The 67 before it also continued on to Blackhall Mill

Could be a rebrand then with keeping the X36 as part of the brand.
