RE: Thomson Airways - NK53 TKT - 21 May 2017 (20 May 2017, 8:59 pm)Tamesider G-TUIK was delivered to MAN in the early hours of yesterday morning, and ferried down to Gatwick this afternoon (Saturday) No. Flown to Larnaca out of MAN today, I expect it be familiarisation this week and then a transfer down to Gatwick in the coming days. EDIT: A 789 is flying on BY94 (my flight) tomorrow which is interesting, since BY52 to Cancun is also being 789 operated so it will be ferried today RE: Thomson Airways - Tamesider - 21 May 2017 (21 May 2017, 4:50 pm)NK53 TKT No. Looks like a change of plan. 'IK was reported locally as due to ferry to LGW yesterday evening, but I noticed it wasn't around at MAN late yesterday afternoon - but did appear on FlightRadar24 at MAN this morning. Indeed, it is due back at MAN (from LCA) in about half an hour. Thought: Why isn't there a "BusRadar24"? RE: Thomson Airways - NK53 TKT - 01 Jun 2017 Just saying, G-TUIK was great, it felt a week old! RE: Thomson Airways - Andreos1 - 08 Oct 2021 TUI have retired the last of their 752's. https://simpleflying.com/tui-boeing-757-retirement/?utm_term=Autofeed&utm_medium=Social&utm_content=echo&utm_source=Facebook#Echobox=1633384244 I was never a fan from a passenger perspective (always found them very cramped), but was quite pleased to see one unexpectedly rock up last year on a return flight to Birmingham. Knew it would probably be my last trip on one. And it was! RE: Thomson Airways - deanmachine - 08 Oct 2021 (08 Oct 2021, 8:14 am)Andreos1 TUI have retired the last of their 752's. Shame my first ever flight in about 1997/98 was on a Britannia 757 to Fuerteventura from Newcastle, so have always had a soft spot for them. Was only 6 years old so didn't notice how cramped they were lol. Thomson Airways - atlantean560 - 08 Oct 2021 Been on a few Brittania Airways 757 through the years, along with those operated by Thomas cook, Ambassador, Air 2000 / Flying Colours /Jet2. The 752 probably replaced by the new 737 Max. Think one or 2 still operating for Jet2,probably not long left for them given the A321 neo order just announced. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk |
