Driver was telling people on the 18 this morning that the new route isn't gaining passengers, as numbers are still low....
This is from a driver so can't really believe it but thought i would share anyway....

The 18 only had 3 on this morning it used to be full and standing with scholars

I got the 6:46am one to work this morning, there was 5 of us on (6 including the driver), 1 got off at Pallion, remaining 4, including myself got off at the North end of the Queen Alexandrea bridge so it was empty.
Ye its the first bus of the day but not sure how long Stagecoach will keep the service as it is.

I think them buses well good working Stockton and Middlesbrough to service like 14'13'39'34 11,10 and like service to so yes there good buses well be at Stockton and Middlesbrough. And I seen 2 mans today been to Stockton.

Hi I have seen alot of 54 reg man 22061'66 haven't seen much of 03 reg man 22011'20. so dose that mean 56 man no 22508'15 entered service soon or not yet.

Have been past depot tonight and noticed that 34401 is missing from bottom depot so I wonder if the bus has gone to Sunderland to be stored or collected for scrap. Regards Robin

I would guess moved to Sunderland prior to scrap or transfer to a different Stagecoach division

It wont have went for scrap after just having a minor refurb ( Repaint and Retrim I think ) when it arrived at Shields a few months ago.
I would hint at it being transferred to another Stagecoach Division, Some went down Plymouth way after our Dot's E200s entered service.
For future reference Robin, Davie has been banned from the Forum for about 6 Months now, So cant reply.

This is from last month but didn't see it.
MrNut85 seems to be having some faith in Shields Sole Dart 34611, Been on late night boards on the 17/18 for most the past week.
Though is there a reason behind this? Just because a E200 is more fuel Efficient than a Dart so is a bit strange to have running a late on board. Is it the same board from the morning? As the Dart or a MAN E200 normally pass my house around 7am on 18s. Always seems to have a different vehicle on that certain board compared to the standard integral E200
The only reason is purely because of where the bus is parked in the depot and also if I'm short of buses for service, the buses I have available will go on contracts as a priority. If I had 3 SLF's I would put them out all night lol. On another note the MAN E200 were to be allocated to the X20 but due to having smaller fuel tanks and being thirsty an ADL E200 is to be allocated to the late night RTC.
Unfortunately due to the depot being on different levels it is not as easy to allocate buses like it is at Sunderland, Slatygate and Bykergate.
