Guessing that the X5 will just be a renumbered X35, unsure what the X6 will be but I'm going to speculate it could combine with the X7 between Sunderland and Peterlee and then continue onto Hartlepool.

Think these changes could be either make or break for Go North East.

I wonder if one of the Solo routes will pick up slack off the Peterlee - Wingate section or if a Hartlepool express is sent that way.

(13 Oct 2016, 2:17 pm)Adrian I'm very surprised that the X1 is being reduced to 12 minutes, given how busy the Washington to Newcastle stretch is. The queues at Washington and Newcastle through the day don't take two minutes to build back up.

(14 Oct 2016, 3:58 pm)Jimmi I do wonder if it could be some form of a circular service like the 206, especially as the registration has the terminus as Station Town, Front Street. Don't think there is anywhere in Station Town suitable to turn a bus around at, there is a sizable mini roundabout but I think it would be a struggle u-turning there.
