That there is going to be major roadworks from mid septembef on Felling bypass between Whitemare Pool and He worth and they will be diverting X9/X10 out of the area for the duration of the roadworks Normally when there's major disruption between Whiteleas and Heworth they run direct via the A1300, A194 up to Whitemare Pool, Avoiding a part of Whiteleas and all of Bolden. X24 would more likely run via Washington using the A1231 up to the A1M, Then direct to Gateshead or straight to Newcastle if it's too much of a pain to run via Gateshead. That's if they divert anyways. RE: Stagecoach North East: Latest News & Discussion - August 2017 - Dan - 21 Aug 2017 (21 Aug 2017, 6:08 pm)South Tyne Lad Normally when there's major disruption between Whiteleas and Heworth they run direct via the A1300, A194 up to Whitemare Pool, Avoiding a part of Whiteleas and all of Bolden. The usual diversionary route for the X24 is A19, A1231, A195, Lingey Lane, back onto Felling Bypass at Wardley.
