Never heard of Stagecoach advertising a service in this way before. What’s people’s thoughts on it? Is the service struggling or is it a hint towards a future upgrade or investment. I hear them quite often on metro and metro 2, tbh I think it’s quite a good sign as they tend to sell the positive for features of the x34, such as the WiFi and the journey times. It’s the only route specific one as the rest are for the under for the VIP tickets and day rider RE: Stagecoach North East: Latest News & Discussion - July 2018 - Kuyoyo - 14 Jul 2018 10637 is on loan to Sunderland for the 510 this afternoon. EDIT: along with 10631 and Slaryford’s 10653. RE: Stagecoach North East: Latest News & Discussion - July 2018 - RBZ 5459 - 16 Jul 2018 24114 has now also gained Great Exhibition of the North livery. RE: Stagecoach North East: Latest News & Discussion - July 2018 - RBZ 5459 - 18 Jul 2018 NEBPT's 669 (H669BNL) fresh out of Saltmeadows looking the part on its way into Economic livery. https://www.facebook.com/142526422471560/posts/1892158634174988/ Stagecoach North East: Latest News & Discussion - July 2018 - cbma06 - 18 Jul 2018 (18 Jul 2018, 8:43 pm)RBZ 5459 NEBPT's 669 (H669BNL) fresh out of Saltmeadows looking the part on its way into Economic livery. That’s a shame it wasn’t in the Sunderland busways colours, only 675/676 which were the only ones which were based in South Shields in economic livery, wouldn’t look the same as 669 never wore economic livery, it might aswell be painted in T.W.O.C livery Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk RE: Stagecoach North East: Latest News & Discussion - July 2018 - stagecoachbusdepot - 18 Jul 2018 (18 Jul 2018, 8:43 pm)RBZ 5459 NEBPT's 669 (H669BNL) fresh out of Saltmeadows looking the part on its way into Economic livery. Fantastic to see another old livery resurrected on the preservation scene. Any idea what's going to happen internally (if anything) - obviously won't be able to get the old Busways seat coverings being open top - will the City Sightseeing branded interior be retained? Hopefully 674 will go into Sunderland colours - be just like when we had 1218 & 1227 running on the summer 22's. Not too sure, but I'd hope the City Sightseeing seats are replaced for something a lot more neutral! 674 is privately owned by an events company, won't be getting restored in the too distant future anyway. 671 has a new life as a zip wire platform.... 670 and 673 were still stored at Slatyford. My thoughts exactly on the seats - will look more garish than ever against the Economic maroon and cream! Oh I thought 674 was in preservation or something to do with A-line and any photos anywhere of 671? Sounds a bizarre new life! It's stored at THV Felling 674, just rents a space in the unit. It's to be kitted out with a bar in the future, the owner does the karaoke at Cosy Joes in Newcastle - one day it might pass to us at THV! 671 attached in Newton Aycliffe. That's a shame, but at least they've been saved from scrap for now. 671 looks sad! Maybe 670 or 673 could still be saved and go into Sunderland yellow and green. NEBPT I guess still own 670 and 673, as all were sold to them minus 674 which they missed out on. We enquired about getting one at THV, but missed out.
