Wonder if this is a new style Chester-le-St town service that has been cancelled by Classic on 27th July.
Also, starting at some point in September, there will be a new tendered service between Darlington and Neasham/Hurworth, Sadberge/Bishopton running 3 days a week to be operated by Scarlet Band.

Don't know if it's a 'new style' but the 700 is replacing the current Chester-le-Street town service.

Has anybody been at Chester-Le-Street today, just for confirmation that the Scarlet Band Chester-Le-Street local services have the right numbered destination up on the screen 700/701/702/703 instead of 810/811/812/813.

I have noticed the Chester le Street Town Service from the first day that Scarlet Band took it over and can confirm that they have used the 811 etc numbers on their buses each day. This is the same service numbering as used by TGM Classic but for some reason the Durham County Council timetable uses the 701 etc numbering. I guess that DCC and Scarlet Band need to agree how the numbering should be allocated. My proposal would be to stick with the 8** numbering.

Ive been in touch with Scarlet Band, and there said that DCC changed the bus service numbers at the last minute, but Scarlet band wasn't told about the change of service numbers, supposed to be recitfyed in a few days time of using the 700 number series.
