Yeah, I went out for it and waited at Heworth. Got bored went to Washington then heard from driver swap that it got swapped because of capacity issue. Which is a shame because really wanted to try before it leaves GNE, cant because of work but I do like Stagecoachs @ 11.8m which would be a good replacement.
PS I do think because its smaller than except to compare against Mercedes, I think it should go on The 9, for last week so it can be tested without being taken out of service.

It wasn't taken out of service for capacity reasons.
The Versa was taken out of service earlier due to being a cold bus, and the ADL an issue with the heating/ventilation system being loud in the saloon. Both back out in service now.

Fleet Update
The three Hybrid Solos used on Sunderland Connect - 629, 630 and 640 - have all now been collected by the auctioneers (Sunderland City Council's preferred method of sale). Watch this space for where they end up appearing...
Ahead of the impending entry into service of the new National Express coaches, 7113 has been withdrawn from service within the Coaching Fleet. It, alongside similar 7114, 7116 and 7117, are to be loaned to Go-Ahead London for use on a Rail Replacement contract operating between Brighton and Three Bridges for a week, from tomorrow.
Bus transfers this weekend will include 6136 from Chester-le-Street to Percy Main, and 6017 becoming a float/reserve bus allocated to Washington.

Thats ashame 6017 is a good bus and if I remember correctly 6136 is rattly as heck would prefer an omnidekka being a float viechle and have low use than a president

National Express timetables are generally the same every day, apart from some minor adjustments to timetables on a Saturday and Sunday to reflect reduced congestion.
The 1320 x 326 and 1730 x 380 only run on Fridays and Sundays.

Interesting Ten Minute Bill by Matt Western on Regulation of Bus Drivers Hours on Local as well as Long distance routes. He also mentions the practice of some operators dividing a route into 2 or 3 to avoid EU regulations of routes over certain lengths (50km?)- Note Newcastle Express to Middlesbrough via Peterlee and Newcastle to Carlisle via Hexham. In his Bill which has been passed to proceed to next stage on 22nd March, he expresses this practice should no longer be allowed. Some further interesting points expressed, which may affect operations by bus operators
