Adrian had a cracking example of the before and after Washington network.

Not sure whether it is in the Bygone Era or not.

There should be some old network maps in there though and it's maybe possibly to compare then to now that way.

However, if you're wanting to know about services in a specific area, I'm sure there's enough knowledge on here to detail the before/after.

Ah thanks, I'll check out that section of the site. Was mainly thinking about Gateshead and Newcastle city centre routes.

(25 Jul 2019, 7:20 pm)GNE6312 What will be allocated to the A1/A2/PR1/PR2/PR3 this weekend?

All Park N Ride should be allocated Low Floor Double Deckers.  A1/A2 will most likely be Low Floor double Deckers or Mercedes-Benz Citaro's.  Deptford are operating all A1 & A2 services this year.

Should the new 97 route not have a separate number for each direction? It is pretty much a circular.

In Saltmeadows at 0735 this morning inside the works was a Redman (Johnson of Worksop) Olympian. Registration obscured by machinery

The guys down at Saltmeadows are helping with its restoration.

Whats in for repaint at SM?

(21 Jul 2019, 4:29 pm)streetdeckfan Interesting to see they've removed the fare calculator from the site. I wonder if it's a permanent removal or just while they update the prices

2 of the ex eyms buses have surfaced at Consett. 6936 & 6938 (iirc). Don’t know what they are for tbh.

Interesting to see than a return fare from Tindale to Newcastle on the X21 is showing as £6.50 when it's supposed to be capped at the price of the day ticket, which would be £6.30 for a Castles Express saver

That's always been the case between fram and Newcastle and something a lot of passengers didn't seem to know about. I haven't caught the X21 by myself in the last week so don't know if that particular day saver still exists.

We were at Sunderland Interchange around 1pm and only saw a handful of people get on each one. It was definitely busier last year.

Not that I seen, quietest Saturday I've worked in Sunderland in ages.

Does the Sunday morning 21 , arriving at DBS at 09:56 run onto the X21 leaving towards Bishop at the same time? Or are they separate meaning that if we catch that 21, we're at risk of missing the X21?

From looking at the timetables and the times of allocations on BusTimes for last Sunday, that X21 looks to be separate from the 21.
