Why would the 306 be upgraded? If it was going to be out of the 306 or the 308, the 308 would be in line for an upgrade first.

I can see the new vehicles being for the 43/44/45.

The 43/44/45 seem to be ok as it is, although I feel those services would suit Frequenta opposed to Sapphire.

Thought they were about to be sold off.

RE: Arriva North East: Latest News & Discussion - July 2019 - tyresmoke - 29 Jul 2019

The NHS had a tender out last year for their staff transport requirements, with incentives for operation of clean vehicles especially hybrid or full electric. Arriva's route 46 is covered by part of this with the extension from Haymarket up to General Hospital - indeed there was recently a registration splitting this part of the route off with the new service being numbered 47. Putting two and two together would suggest this is a likely candidate

No they didn't. Arriva retained it. Expect to see an electric bus on the 553 very soon.

Yeah they did, I can remember Dan making a post about 2 Mercedes Sprinters being on order a month or so back for this contract.

Well hopefully non of these are on their way up here - https://www.flickr.com/photos/trevor-plackett/48405655047#comments

The one in the photo above is believed to be for Hemel Hempstead operations.

How much longer is redcar going to have 4316 and 1759 on its roads for surely there must be some pulsars or streetlite spare to replace them, neither of them sound healthy and seem very rattley

RE: Arriva North East: Latest News & Discussion - July 2019 - Cock Robin - 31 Jul 2019

Nothing wrong with them.
