Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - September 2019 - JM03 - 31 Aug 2019 (31 Aug 2019, 10:22 pm)Stanleyone 5420, 5440 & 5441 are now at Consett, 6133 & 6143 out Thought I saw 5441 at the lay over at Gateshead today RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - August 2019 - Malarkey - 01 Sep 2019 (31 Aug 2019, 11:54 pm)JM03 It was on the X66 in the afternoon RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - August 2019 - Stanleyone - 01 Sep 2019 (01 Sep 2019, 12:00 am)Malarkey Transferred late last night RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - August 2019 - Dan - 01 Sep 2019 (31 Aug 2019, 9:30 pm)Michael Only 7 Versa's, PVR for the 35 is 8... shame because i think the Scania's would be better as spares etc... Those 2009 Versas are only Euro 4, so no good for the 35 (as every board has at least one journey which is secured as Euro 5). The 35 will now be operated by Mercedes Citaros on Sundays, as many fleet livery as possible followed by the remaining Wear Xpress examples yet to be painted after that. This reduces the mileage operated by these Scanias, and aims to improve reliability on Sundays. Good because im getting 35A next hour ! RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - August 2019 - Michael - 01 Sep 2019 (01 Sep 2019, 7:17 am)Dan Those 2009 Versas are only Euro 4, so no good for the 35 (as every board has at least one journey which is secured as Euro 5). Ah right, shame, would of thought the Scania's would of gone! Apart from the movements which have already kindly been post by Stanleyone and Citaro5326, have anymore happened? RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - August 2019 - S830OFT - 01 Sep 2019 The 12/97 are also Citaros today, meaning that the only Scania L94UBs out are on the Loop 93/94. RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - August 2019 - Michael - 01 Sep 2019 (01 Sep 2019, 8:56 am)S830OFT The 12/97 are also Citaros today, meaning that the only Scania L94UBs out are on the Loop 93/94. Sad that the Scania's are getting used less and less but understand from a mileage point of view... getting closer to being withdrawn now RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - August 2019 - Andreos1 - 01 Sep 2019 (01 Sep 2019, 9:01 am)Michael Sad that the Scania's are getting used less and less but understand from a mileage point of view... getting closer to being withdrawn now And reliability, comfort and possibly MPG? My love (?!) of them is well documented and I've been of the opinion that they should have gone years ago. A few Sundays off shouldn't affect their mileage too much. It's not as if those Scania lumps have got much of a life beyond GNE. RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - August 2019 - Michael - 01 Sep 2019 (01 Sep 2019, 9:38 am)Andreos1 Same, the Scania's have always been decent, well apart from a few now. RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - August 2019 - Malarkey - 01 Sep 2019 (01 Sep 2019, 7:17 am)Dan Those 2009 Versas are only Euro 4, so no good for the 35 (as every board has at least one journey which is secured as Euro 5). So what will be used on the 35 going forward Monday to Saturday once the Scanias are withdrawn? RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - August 2019 - Michael - 01 Sep 2019 (01 Sep 2019, 2:10 pm)Malarkey Hopefully Streetlites or Citaro's. RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - August 2019 - pbjd - 01 Sep 2019 (01 Sep 2019, 2:14 pm)Michael Hopefully Streetlites or Citaro's. Where would these be magiced from? RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - August 2019 - Michael - 01 Sep 2019 (01 Sep 2019, 2:55 pm)pbjd Streetlites from the Red Kite. Citaro's - depends, if any of the current Citaro routes gets B9's as a cascade. Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - August 2019 - cbma06 - 01 Sep 2019 (01 Sep 2019, 2:55 pm)pbjd Probably from the red kites Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - August 2019 - Stanleyone - 01 Sep 2019 (01 Sep 2019, 2:55 pm)pbjd 5409-5420, 5440 & 5441 at Consett, latter 3 I would imagine will release 3 double decks off the RK for scholars work. St Bedes require 11 double Deckers, 2 of which work on to Service work. 6915, 6916, 6917, 6918, 6919 and 6932 are dedicated to scholars, taxi and V11 RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - August 2019 - Michael - 01 Sep 2019 (01 Sep 2019, 3:20 pm)Stanleyone Thanks for the info Anything else transfered to Deptford, apart from the Versa's? RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - August 2019 - busmanT - 01 Sep 2019 (01 Sep 2019, 8:56 am)S830OFT The 12/97 are also Citaros today, meaning that the only Scania L94UBs out are on the Loop 93/94. Presumably that’s why there is a Versa on the 57 today RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - August 2019 - Dan - 01 Sep 2019 (01 Sep 2019, 4:50 pm)busmanT Riverside are allocated 35 Citaro to meet a PVR of 26 Citaro on Sundays - more than achievable without the use of any other vehicle types! RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - September 2019 - JM03 - 01 Sep 2019 Just walked past CLS, spotted one ex-London Gemini, 3964 and another GNE Gemini, guessing these are from deptford |
