RE: Northern Rail - Andreos1 - 23 Feb 2016

(23 Feb 2016, 7:50 pm)South Tyne Lad Nothing has been confirmed on that yet, But speculation is that 156s will be staying with Class 150s transferring from Newton Heath in the North West
Though 150s will have to get cleared between Pelaw and Sunderland first before that happens.

around 2018 I believe though it could be earlier or later

I will update you when more info comes about  Smile

If they are GWR 150/0's (the only type I have had a go of) - I didn't enjoy them at all.

No its definitely not 150/0s as there's only 2 of them and there staying with GWR I believe.
Northern operate 150/1s and 150/2s and are all at the minute based at Newton Heath TMD in the North West.

150/1s ( Very Similar to /0s ) arnt the best like you say but 150/2s are great.

Almost went in the 'What has made you laugh thread'.

Northern are suggesting I take my Mam out on Sunday, using their network.

Not sure it would go down too well...
