RE: Arriva North East: Rare & Odd Workings - March 2020 - Kuyoyo - 06 Mar 2020 Stockton have had a bit of a nightmare day today - for the first time in three years, there were a number of services standing at the end of run-out due to vehicles awaiting parts As such: 1924 was supposed to be out all night on 15s - but has been replaced by 1486 1488 started on 15s - but lasted one round trip before being replaced by 1550 for the rest of the board (which includes the 1718 X17 from Middlesbrough to Kingsmead) before ending up on 8/X5 1494 also started on 15s but only appears to have lasted half a trip before being replaced by 1423. 1494 later went out on the 7/7a board (which was one of the two stood boards at runout) 1441 has been on X66/X67 - while 1458 and 1459 have filled in for that and 1442 on X12s. 1404 spent the day on 805/5A board - also on 5As today have been 1414, 1536 and 1454, the later replacing the only Streetlite allocated on there (1559) at 1622 to regulate due to major delays from a broken down Coach on Cargo Fleet Lane. 1559 later worked the 1703 X17 - meaning all 3 afternoon X17s were operated by Streetlites 1485 has spent the day on X22s 1558 has been on the same 8 board as 1557 was on yesterday (MC6/8/5) losing just one trip mid afternoon due to the aforementioned Cargo Fleet issue RE: Arriva North East: Rare & Odd Workings - March 2020 - Cock Robin - 07 Mar 2020 THURSDAY 5/3 62 7610, 7401 replaced by 7404 64/64A 1429 (replaced 4709 after gap in service), 1434 (replaced 4703 after gap in service). (Both taken off 63 to replace defective Temsas. 1429 eventually replaced on 63 by 4717 after it completed its day's duties on 64). 81 1430 (replaced 4725) X3/X3A 4707, 4723, 4726 X93 7609 5 1457, 1410 (replaced 1554) 5A 1427, 1456, 1484 (all Pulsar!) 8 1557, 1556 (replaced 1454 after gap in service) 15 1428, 1455 (replaced 1491), 1559 17 1491 (replaced 1418), 1458, 1460 17A 1443 (replaced 1468), 1454 (replaced 1923) 29 1552 X12 1468 (replaced 1443), 1536, 1517, 1529, 7562 (replaced 1419 after gap in service) X22 1405 X66/X67 1421 RE: Arriva North East: Rare & Odd Workings - March 2020 - scanialover - 07 Mar 2020 Scania 4654 seen trundling up to Durham on the 7 this lunchtime? Not sure if this a rare working but probably indicative of the way depots are having to juggle vehicles to meet the PVR requirements. RE: Arriva North East: Rare & Odd Workings - March 2020 - BusLoverMum - 09 Mar 2020 What's the elderly gemini that's at Belmont, at the moment? It's been on the 64 all afternoon. It's out of sight before it's out of earshot, though. Saw an unnamed Solo operating X66/67. Never a good idea! RE: Arriva North East: Rare & Odd Workings - March 2020 - Cock Robin - 12 Mar 2020 (12 Mar 2020, 1:48 pm)scanialover Better than a Solo and more reliable than a Scania! Rubbish 7426 62 RE: Arriva North East: Rare & Odd Workings - March 2020 - scanialover - 12 Mar 2020 And just what does rubbish mean please? A Solo is unsuited to the route due to the loadings and the Scanias, much as I like them as a well maintained bus,, Arrivals aren't! They've been flogged and should be retired. |
