They had this as their NIS screen, quite nice to see an operator personalising it! They even invited us onto their new E200's which they had just picked up the previous day, to show us what they were like!

(29 Oct 2014, 10:20 pm)NEBCD Malarkey The first of Lothian's B5TL's has been spotted near the Wrightbus Factory in Ballymena, Ahead of Delivery to Lothian, I wonder if these will be making a Pit Stop at Volvo Bus and Coach in Washington like the 7900H's did a few months back.

(29 Oct 2014, 11:10 pm)Dan I believe these are to be assigned to services 3 and 33, replacing the current Wright bodied double decks that operate on these services.

Without looking at my e-mails, I can't confirm whether these cascaded double decks are due to replace the last remaining 25ish Darts in the fleet or whether further 7900s will achieve this.

Interestingly, a Dart was shown at the Open Doors Day to be trialling some sort of system to upgrade the vehicle's Euro status. I wrote something on the caption of the photo about the system - if anyone fancies digging through my photos to find it.
Some of the Darts are also having their seats reupholstered. Whether this is to increase sale value (unlikely - as this didn't happen with the Y-reg Darts) or suggests further use in the fleet, I do not know.

(30 Mar 2015, 9:12 pm)Kuyoyo Lothian Country Buses are taking 2 Volvo B9TL/Wright Eclipse Gemini 2s from the main Lothian fleet ahead of improvements to the 113 - the first treated is 937 (SN10 DKE) The other is expected to be 938.
