Red, double doored, electric and destination blinds too. Very nice! RE: Fully Electric Decker - Micheal Aaron - 21 Jun 2021 Looks nice. Didn't noticed it had windup blinds. Quite surprising at that Fully Electric Decker - TEN 6083 - 21 Jun 2021 Anyone know the fleetnumber? Didn't noticed it had windup blinds. Quite surprising at that It has powerblinds as per London spec. They’re electric just not LED. This was a former Metroline bus but was returned to Optare due to a PVR decrease on the 134. RMF1254 - RMF1254 - 22 Jun 2021 I didn’t know it was in service yesterday but got a nice surprise when it turned up in Gateshead - I was actually trying to get photos of the new route 58 branding. RE: Fully Electric Decker - Ambassador - 22 Jun 2021 Apologies if I've missed it but what's its interior spec (I would guess being an ex TFL use it has wifi and potentially chargers) but no tables etc RE: Fully Electric Decker - Big O - 22 Jun 2021 (22 Jun 2021, 11:08 am)Ambassador Apologies if I've missed it but what's its interior spec (I would guess being an ex TFL use it has wifi and potentially chargers) but no tables etc Tfl spec does not include WiFi. RE: Fully Electric Decker - Ambassador - 22 Jun 2021 (22 Jun 2021, 12:01 pm)Big O Tfl spec does not include WiFi. I'm surprised at that - I guess it's due to the plethora of readily available free public wi-fi across the area Fully Electric Decker - Xlines 6335 - 22 Jun 2021 https://flic.kr/p/2m785Yy Here it is seen arriving at Eldon Square this afternoon. To their credit their spec includes a set standard for clear interior signage, iBus information system with PA system for manual driver announcements, separate exit doors for faster boarding & alighting/reduced dwell times, clear destinations displays whether blinds or HD LED screens and simple but easy to recognise livery/logos. Fully Electric Decker - streetdeckfan - 22 Jun 2021 Doesn't TFL spec have actual leg room though? Or is that just my imagination Sent from my LM-G710 using Tapatalk RE: Fully Electric Decker - ne14ne1 - 24 Jun 2021 Lovely peaceful ride. No Diesel engine growling away. RE: Fully Electric Decker - Ambassador - 24 Jun 2021 (24 Jun 2021, 9:13 am)ne14ne1 Lovely peaceful ride. No Diesel engine growling away. Quite rattly I thought once it got going. Still doesn't seem as quiet as my the Designlines (I loved them!) although admittedly double the size and RE: Fully Electric Decker - Adrian - 24 Jun 2021 (24 Jun 2021, 3:38 pm)Ambassador Quite rattly I thought once it got going. I didn't think it was too bad from that video. Certainly not to a Streetlite standard. It's probably more noticeable without the diesel engine roaring away, but I'm yet to try it out for myself. RE: Fully Electric Decker - streetdeckfan - 24 Jun 2021 (24 Jun 2021, 9:57 pm)Adrian I didn't think it was too bad from that video. Certainly not to a Streetlite standard. I was on one of the X66 Streetlites yesterday (I think it was the corporate one, but not sure) and it was basically rattle free. I took up my normal seat next to the door and I didn't even have to lean against it to make it quiet! RE: Fully Electric Decker - streetdeckfan - 06 Jul 2021 What happened with the electric decker then? Didn't seem to be out much |
