Most people you see wearing them will have gained them from wherever they play sport. A lot of football clubs use them as training gear, mine certainly does and that's where I got mine from.
They have a very retro look about them.

Who remembers the Trackie Pants that had press stud things right up the legs, I had a pair that had studs to the waist and quick tug would have completely de-pantsed me

Not sure if I actually ever had any but I certainly remember them.

I owned a pair. Went nicely with my Ben Sherman, Caterpillar boots and black leather jacket.

I don't think I recall seeing anyone wearing green jeans around the mean streets of Winlaton. Some dared to rock the red and, obviously, brown, black, blue and grey - but no green. Perhaps it's one of those 90s amnesia things on my part and people did wear them - I don't know!

Cant think off anyone in green jeans...
I mostly wore white or cream, not a good idea when going on the piss, one night I ended up covered head to foot in tarmac in Durham and got locked up when me and my mate were funfighting with yellow police traffic cones on our heads...My mate who had never in trouble before ever started crying when the police told him he would up in front of the beak the next morning and he would be remanded till trial...Despite telling me it was to learn him a lesson and they had me in on the joke as well, despite me telling him not to worry about...
We were let out within 2 hours and made to walk home, me to Fram and him to Lanchester or Langley Park

Saw some of these in the TK Maxx (Metrocentre) a couple of weeks back.

Seeing Gallowgate on Billy Elliott and the Rapide coaches, brought back memories of Armstrong Galley's 'Clipper' service.
