Sunderland District | A new network of brands for services in Sunderland - cbma06 - 08 Dec 2021 (08 Dec 2021, 6:50 pm)TEN 6083 Coast & Country into Country Ranger Service 60 streetlites should be getting a refresh sometime soon the same as the coaster refresh livery Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk RE: Sunderland District | A new network of brands for services in Sunderland - Keeiajs - 08 Dec 2021 (08 Dec 2021, 7:12 pm)cbma06 Service 60 streetlites should be getting a refresh sometime soon the same as the coaster refresh liveryI hope the 60 is getting a better, more complex livery. Coaster livery is very boring. However I wonder if they will hold off on that and just buy new buses for the 60, as it has really been left out with the Ex Saltwell Parks. RE: Sunderland District | A new network of brands for services in Sunderland - Andreos1 - 08 Dec 2021 (08 Dec 2021, 5:57 pm)Michael First Solo is now in "Sunderland District Silver" - actually looks good. 'congestion busting'?! Sounds like there's changes ahead, which will see services go to the places people are travelling to! https://twitter.com/NELiveTraffic/status/1468500058207305734?t=15GfCikyVGln_Ljv0SIxdw&s=19 https://twitter.com/NELiveTraffic/status/1468498586610679811?t=7tBUZ2tLfYRMJRyVbpV94g&s=19 https://twitter.com/NELiveTraffic/status/1468495572827004938?t=xlSNHwpMMxUu2F-wcZhE3Q&s=19 https://twitter.com/NELiveTraffic/status/1468490604430741506?t=4sB9rEciY4qhMlU_XRIbXg&s=19 https://twitter.com/NELiveTraffic/status/1468487218712952835?t=0zGP7NRTO3lMJIQxtmCvBw&s=19 https://twitter.com/NELiveTraffic/status/1468149085760856071?t=LHTh9CWqiGZbW3Fk0a1zow&s=19 https://twitter.com/NELiveTraffic/status/1468140814261964803?t=Z1Oybmfo50Ww7vrxOq8g7w&s=19 https://twitter.com/NELiveTraffic/status/1468134731325886473?t=LDx_rsP_NS3TFRMuCwDK4w&s=19 https://twitter.com/NELiveTraffic/status/1468133441526976512?t=8LOS8qu51Fphrc2E1O873Q&s=19 https://twitter.com/NELiveTraffic/status/1468132478405779465?t=8m8HHG80h2SBpa769EELoQ&s=19 https://twitter.com/NELiveTraffic/status/1468125073043337217?t=ZeKrVJ2uZ3tSYNkzSZOZEA&s=19 Can't wait to see these changes and see some congestion being busted! RE: Sunderland District | A new network of brands for services in Sunderland - Keeiajs - 08 Dec 2021 (08 Dec 2021, 10:30 pm)Andreos1 'congestion busting'?!It all fairness the tyne tunnel doesn't have great connections especially from places like Doxford park and Silverlink. RE: Sunderland District | A new network of brands for services in Sunderland - Andreos1 - 08 Dec 2021 (08 Dec 2021, 10:39 pm)Keeiajs It all fairness the tyne tunnel doesn't have great connections especially from places like Doxford park and Silverlink. Not one of those places highlighted as traffic hot-spots and huge sources of congestion, have a range of services operating to/from different places. That's why I get all excited about these 'congestion busting' services that MG is on about. The travel people know they're congestion hot spots (hence the cameras that have been installed for a number of years), so it is really pleasing to hear that GNE have congestion busting routes being launched after all these years of not having congestion busting routes. RE: Sunderland District | A new network of brands for services in Sunderland - Keeiajs - 08 Dec 2021 (08 Dec 2021, 10:51 pm)Andreos1 Not one of those places highlighted as traffic hot-spots and huge sources of congestion, have a range of services operating to/from different places.https://twitter.com/NELiveTraffic/status/1468500058207305734?t=15GfCikyVGln_Ljv0SIxdw It is literally the first link you posted. Also what are these Congestion Busting routes? RE: Sunderland District | A new network of brands for services in Sunderland - Adrian - 08 Dec 2021 (08 Dec 2021, 10:30 pm)Andreos1 'congestion busting'?! There's no consistency in the messaging here. If buses are proving to be congestion busting, why does he spend so much time talking about congestion? Unless the product isn't delivering results. Haven't you heard, it's because there aren't enough bus lanes! RE: Sunderland District | A new network of brands for services in Sunderland - Adrian - 08 Dec 2021 (08 Dec 2021, 11:26 pm)Keeiajs You can't expect bus lanes to appear and stuff to be done overnight. However I do agree he keeps going on about it, but nothing seems to change. So how's it congestion busting, if it relies on infrastructure that doesn't exist? Surely that's like me saying Sunderland are a Premiership team, only they're in League 1. RE: Sunderland District | A new network of brands for services in Sunderland - V514DFT - 09 Dec 2021 I reckon it'll be another round of changes un-doing previous changes RE: Sunderland District | A new network of brands for services in Sunderland - Andreos1 - 09 Dec 2021 (08 Dec 2021, 11:16 pm)Adrian There's no consistency in the messaging here. Goodness knows what the congestion busting will consist of, if Dan is accurate in what he is saying elsewhere on the forum. I think you'll find in the coming months that all three of the region's operators will be looking to scale back their networks, concentrate on the core and see how they can develop that, rather than focusing on weak points or taking back work that is, and will never be, profitable. Whilst there are many benefits to come from the BSIP (should the region be successful in its bid), it also looks at rationalisation of the network too. Agreed, I think the colour combo suites the Solo well. Though I did have to twice as to weather the service bears any resemblance to the Crusader. Apart from that no difference RE: Sunderland District | A new network of brands for services in Sunderland - Chris 1 - 09 Dec 2021 (09 Dec 2021, 2:53 pm)Train8261 Only difference is the little colour. I thought it might have had some sort of coaster/little coaster relationship to the crusader.
