I hope there isn’t a match on in Newcastle today if Stagecoach are downgrading routes to single decks?

Im pretty sure there is a couple of decker boards but the rest of the allocation is made up of E300s

Do tend to still get the odd ALX300 on there from time to time. Sundays gets MMCs (used to be exclusively deckers for some reason, now more mixed). Apart from Sundays I don’t think it’s been fully decker-operated for decades.

... and it was on 22 today. Saw it heading down Coast Road this morning on the way to Cobalt to pick up the service. Wonder if Walkergate are using it as a type trainer as they probably need a few more saloons for the 317 ?

I think the 317 will be allocated cleaner engines euro 5 or 6 so I think probably more enviro 300

Them buses or starting to age now. Can't see them going on the 317. I thought it would be enviro 300 or 200.
