This may sound funny and a bit bizarre,but why do some of the older Versas smell dreadful?,,i know age is a factor,but i wouldnt class their age as old

Perhaps not as noticeable as , no matter what paint you slap on the plastics inside are well past their best...

It's probably damp. The Versa's if I'm right used to have condensation problems on the roof. Arriva's 08 plate Solo's which are a similar vintage are bad for it aswell.
(assuming it's the same smell we're talking about).
