RE: PCL Travel - S830OFT - 20 Aug 2017 (20 Aug 2017, 1:39 pm)Jimmi Well, the 14:00 M1 from the Metrocentre seemingly has failed to make an appearance in Newcastle this afternoon... I was in Newcastle with my friend today so wasn't on the buses, although I saw R222LOT at 12:10 on St Thomas Street with Peter Cowell himself at the wheel. He dropt one passenger off and drove towards Great North Road. I never new of the Metrocentre extension, although having rode R222LOT on Friday I made a note of it. I hope this helps you. RE: PCL Travel - Tom - 25 Aug 2017 A1 timetable - https://www.nexus.org.uk/sites/default/files/documents/bus/A001-PCL-040917.pdf Nexus versions of the 470/473 also online. RE: PCL Travel - Pulsar - 01 Sep 2017 Have the Versas arrived yet? The contracts start next week so hopefully be here soon if not already. PCL Travel - Jimmi - 01 Sep 2017 Both Versa's have reportedly arrived. Can't see the Versas suiting rural link? RE: PCL Travel - Jimmi - 01 Sep 2017 (01 Sep 2017, 7:36 pm)Tom Any idea on the colour? White or the rural link? Can't see the Versas suiting rural link? Don't know the answer to that I'm afraid, lets not rule out the possibility of them being red & black either which was the livery they were in before joining PCL (assuming that they are the one's I think they are). R222LOT now has Rural Link vinyls and the pink circle has been removed. Ah so they are not brand new. How old are they? PCL Travel - TEN 6083 - 01 Sep 2017 (01 Sep 2017, 8:13 pm)Tom Ah so they are not brand new. How old are they? Saw one on Facebook not long ago and it was a 13 plate. Cheers, they look ok RE: PCL Travel - Pulsar - 01 Sep 2017 (01 Sep 2017, 9:15 pm)TEN 6083 Saw one on Facebook not long ago and it was a 13 plate. Looks good. Hopefully I will get to try the services soon for myself and find out. RE: PCL Travel - Andreos1 - 01 Sep 2017 (01 Sep 2017, 9:15 pm)TEN 6083 Saw one on Facebook not long ago and it was a 13 plate. I'm racking my brains to think if these had leather seats and charging points. RE: PCL Travel - Tom - 01 Sep 2017 The fleet is certainly improving - just need something to replace the Darts now though they are ok on the likes of the S1 RE: PCL Travel - Cobalt271 - 01 Sep 2017 It has a plug style door too, something I've never seen on a service bus before. RE: PCL Travel - jimmoc - 02 Sep 2017 Them Versa has the 1 door on front like solooking 706 they have same seats has bluebirdsome with belts RE: PCL Travel - GuyParkRoyal - 04 Sep 2017 The Versa's YJ13 HHU & YJ13 HHW are out in service on the 470, 473 & A1. The buses look very smart even to the point of members of the public commenting on them at Alnwick Bus Station. PCL are doing special student tickets with a day or weekly available on the bus with the option of an annual ticket directly from PCL Travel. https://www.flickr.com/photos/gpr_bus_photos/36214450043/in/photostream/ RE: PCL Travel - Tom - 04 Sep 2017 (04 Sep 2017, 2:25 pm)GuyParkRoyal The Versa's YJ13 HHU & YJ13 HHW are out in service on the 470, 473 & A1. I agree, very smart indeed RE: PCL Travel - Andreos1 - 04 Sep 2017 (04 Sep 2017, 2:59 pm)Tom I agree, very smart indeed The rest of the Weaveaway subsidaries/brands are very similar. It may be a Versa, but they certainly look appealing. If I remember right, it was Weaveaway who upgraded the ex Arriva Cadets/Renowns a couple of years back. Edit: https://www.flickr.com/photos/je1791/28358299226/ it wasn't, apologies. Knew there was black on them and they were in the same neck of the woods. RE: PCL Travel - S830OFT - 06 Sep 2017 Do PCL have ticket machines yet? RE: PCL Travel - Tom - 06 Sep 2017 (06 Sep 2017, 8:34 pm)S830OFT Do PCL have ticket machines yet? Looks like the Versas do RE: PCL Travel - Jimmi - 06 Sep 2017 (06 Sep 2017, 8:43 pm)Tom Looks like the Versas do Versa I had today did, they are strange one's that I haven't seen before, so I don't know what they are called. |
