But I heard from someone the other day that PCL Travel are in the process of getting 2 Newer single deck vehicles to add to their service run fleet, not sure if this means they will get rid of any or whether it will be in addition too.

Not sure how accurate the info is, hence why I have just said rumour, but the person who told me knows the owner of PCL quite well.

(31 Aug 2016, 3:56 pm)Charles41 It was on the Hexham - Whittonstall service yesterday. Did not even pull into the stand at Hexham bus station. Stopped on the other side of the road outside the estate agents.

The vehicle was purchased from Hillary, Prudhoe. They used it on contracts for special schools I believe.

(31 Aug 2016, 4:33 pm)Jimmi It's a photo of a Go North East bendy bus which has been photoshopped into their livery by somebody. Saw another photoshop of their Rural Link livery on a Olympian or something like that on Flickr.

I was looking on their website last night on my phone and it is awful to use on a mobile and there seems to be some errors on it, such as it saying that the 79 only runs Wednesday's when it actually runs on Saturday's as well.

(31 Aug 2016, 5:55 pm)Jimmi Irritatingly the few bits of info I could find says it doesn't but according to the EXIF data on this photo: https://flic.kr/p/Lt8kVW it shows the Volvo B6 running the service on Saturday just gone.

I think I saw a VOSA registration a while back for a Saturday 79.

Also their timetables seemingly keep changing at less than a minutes notice and when it happens you can't find the updated timetable for love nor money, S1 changed recently, Lord knows in what way as there is no online timetable anywhere to find ou6t.
