She has to travel through Durham to get to work at ~4pm and it's already a chore! 14 months to fix a bridge though, they could build a new one from scratch in less than that! RE: Durham Bus Stn - col87 - 14 Aug 2020 So is it basically going to be near enough the same as now in which case what's the point of demolishing and rebuilding it when a brand new bus station with a better layout using both sides of North Road to ease congestion would have been better. The existing Durham Bus Station will be demolished early next year and work on a new modern, spacious transport hub will begin in Spring 2021.
