G-TTOE was great, made the most of being upgraded to 1C. However it was a palaver because I thought (as did my aunty and parents) that I was an unaccompanied child and Newcastle check-in staff agreed. The cabin crew thought I needed escorting so I was moved to row 1 and I had to wait until everyone had got off the plane at Heathrow before being chaperoned off and a lot of forms needed filling out and apparently the Newcastle staff will be investigated. I will wait and see about tomorrow when G-EUOE fly's me home on BA1332.

Following on from the conversations about new interiors and seating, I am trying to track the aircraft I used, by their call sign.

Tracked the callsigns via the BA app, but having looked at flight radar,  it doesn't go back too far (and just misses off the last lot of dates I flew).

Any ideas?

G-EUOH flew me home today with a 45 minute delay on BA1332, disappointed in comparison to G-TTOE. I thought the plane was to small for the route and people were being asked to put hand baggage in the hold, not mega impressed with T5 at Heathrow either with this being the first time I could really see it. I wasnot chaperoned.

This is common to be honest with this route. It's the fact many people do long haul and transfer on. Plus, the limits aren't as strict as the likes of FR and U2.

I had a G-LCYG to MAD and she was fantastic! Shame my Iberia flight was 4 hours late. We boarded, had engines running for 40 minutes and were told to take our stuff and leave the aircraft as quickly as possible.

Alex Cruz has seemingly had his wicked way and has introduced BOB catering to BA short haul. At least it's M&S apparently and I might actually get a decent amount of crisps and some decent offerings. That being said, I have to say the falafel I got for free on LCY-MAD with Cityflyer was pretty amazing.

In the middle of the wing section, Brilliant views of the wing, These two seats have extra legroom due to no seat being infront of them.

Quietest part of aircraft is at the front infront of the engines, Apart from takeoff!

There's a seat missing in front of them and you get a proper window view. I always choose that seat if it's available when flying LHR - PHX/MEX or DFW/IAH during the winter season.

As a Avid Aviation enthusiast and also Easter coming up, It wasn't long until this will be posted!

Found out I'm heading back to Florida this year for my Annual/Sometimes Twice Annual trip there to see family/Theme Parks and other things there, However after the successful trip on British Airways and Fellow Oneworld alliance partner American Airline's last August has resulted in us going back on them.

Trip will start out on BA1321 off Newcastle at 06:05 to London Heathrow, Which utilises a Airbus A320 on this day, Though all flight's are mixed allocated every day, Flight's can regulary jump from a A319 to a larger A321, Though is usually A319 and A320s/

After a 1 hour transfer on National Express from Terminal 5 Interchange to Gatwick's South Terminal, Which utilises a 2 Axle Volvo B9R/ Ceatano Levante.

While we normally fly into Orlando International/Sanford, Me and family will be flying into Tampa this year, Which is around 60 miles west of Orlando International , And 95 miles west of Orlando Sanford.

While this will save us the drive from Orlando, Id heavily recommend travelling to Tampa instead of Orlando in the peak holiday weeks and driving to Orlando, Which takes around 1 hour - 1hr 30mins depending on traffic down the Interstate 275 and Interstate 4.
The reason I recommend it is because 2x Daily Orlando flights are heavily loaded nearly all year round, Which also means its proan to heavy price increases over the 4x Weekly Tampa flight, Which going by Prices and Experience of boarding right next to it last year at Gatwick to be only Half Full.

Haulage on this flight will be one of Gatwick's based Boeing 777-236ER's, Or " 772s " , While I had GE90-94B engined G-VIIP last year, I'm hoping for one of Gatwick's minority Rolls Royce Trent RR-895 powered ones this year, As that will clear me of all 3 Engine types offered on the 777, Although not all Subtypes will be cleared.

After 17 days in Florida, I'm returing via Philedelphia using American Tampa - Philly , And then a BA Boeing 747-436 ( looking forward to this one! ) on BA066 to Heathrow , Then BA1326 to onwards to Newcastle.

BA066 is a interesting one, As according to BA its going to utilise a 747, Yet all recent records of the flight come up as a mixture of mostly 772s, So I'm hoping it still turns out to be a 744!

Flights outbound leave on the 9th April , Returning on the 25th , Arriving on the 26th.

I am off on BA1335 and BA1338 just after you come back and I get an A320/A321 respectively

What time does the flight to Tampa leave, just I am flying out at 10:20am to Montego Bay from Gatwick and I wonder if flying to Heathrow the night before to save a hotel is worth it, at present I am going by train but this isn't booked.

EDIT: Not worth flying to Heathrow with the flight being £150pp
