It's not a promotional livery for Go North East's Key Card - I'm led to believe that this livery (or similar) will be rolled out fleet-wide on vehicles in red fleet livery to complete the corporate livery.

Not sure what the arrangements are with the branding company, but I'd imagine they'd target each depot one at a time and whiz through as many as possible..?

I am not a massive fan to be honest, I liked it best when it was blue, yellow and red

(21 Sep 2015, 2:44 pm)Michael wrote Dan said this morning:

The following vehicles are currently at Saltmeadows for repaint:

- Stanley's Scania CN230UB/Scania Omnicity 5250 (NK56 KHW)
- Crook's Volvo B7TL/Plaxton President 6038 (V338 LGC)

Also noticed that the old East Durham timetables on the site has now being updated to Indigo but all the routes are separate so it doesn't show a picture of the Solo SR. Example: http://www.simplygo.com/download/publication/58992.18
Hang on, it's green Huh

True only the name of the timetable is Indigo - i think its coloured coded as there's loads of services within the brand however the front of the timetable should be Indigoish.

I didn't see the offside but I imagine it'll be the same design.

It's clear that the new livery has been designed with adverts in mind - it'll look slightly less bland when a full-size advert is applied. I think it would have been a bit better with a Go North East logo above the rear wheel arch (similar to the old "Northern" branding). A huge improvement on plain red, regardless.

Just reading Marcus's review and he mentioned driver changeovers at North Shields. There is no canteen at North Shields anymore, so the bulk of the crew changeovers will take place in or around Percy Main (like before North Shields opened).

Did GNE run the canteen at North Shields or was it a public one?

Aye, it was a GNE travelshop too.

Was wandering why the 17A drivers changed over at Percy Main Metro yesterday.

(21 Sep 2015, 3:55 pm)Michael wrote Ye it looks like it, i wonder if all 4 will go Black for ToonLink, although i don't think the PVR won't go up by that much with changes (unless they want them to stop interworking?), or they are including a new service in the brand, which as yet to be put on VOSA?

For all we know, the 15/15A might be getting branded, using a black base... with the 4th Omnicity acting as a spare.....

But i'll go for at least 2 going Black for the ToonLink to stop interworking... Tongue

11/95 interworking?

PVR works out perfectly too, with one spare.

Hit the nail on the head there... 11 to Blackhall Mill and back gets to Newcastle goes to Market street does 95 to Metrocentre and back arriving into Eldon Square to do the 11.

The 95 would fit in perfect with the brand... maybe in future the 96/97A/X97 could join the ToonLink brand?

Do you know that he is 100% correct? What i'd associate the phrase in bold with.

I suppose, in your defense, it was strongly suggested that the 95 will interwork by somebody who seems to know what he was talking about.

And it was a driver at Riverside who told me, Lee and Kenco.

Can't be 100% correct but the person who said it sounds pretty confident and it makes perfect sense. Even Dan suggested it'd be interworking with something...
