(07 Apr 2017, 6:56 pm)Michael I've never been on them so can't comment on if they need everything new. hahaI'd certainly say so. They look like an early 90s office inside, in terms of flooring and the cream sideplates. Very grubby and uncomfortable things, which is hard for a merc to be in my opinion.

Am I right in thinking that the new ticket machines being rolled out by GNE feature QR scanners similar to those introduced by Oxford Bus Company?

Both of the newly painted black buses are making appearances at night. They're rather sleek. Cameras hate them at night, though. It's like trying to take a picture of a star in the night sky. It rarely works!

There you go Malarkey. There's some info you can quote.
I find it quite amazing that staff can find the time to steal photos, yet when notified about drivers performing illegal manoeuvre's, they can't find the time to respond to an email...

(08 Apr 2017, 7:21 am)Dan The very same. QR codes are printed on return tickets, day tickets, weekly tickets, etc. That's a great idea, as QR codes is almost used in everything now, some educational settings even use them as part of children's work now, like puzzles for example.

(08 Apr 2017, 3:41 am)LeeCalder Not sure if it's been noted, apologies if it has, but it appears Chester-le-Street will be gaining the 36 from Deptford.

(08 Apr 2017, 8:38 am)park5354 Theory :-Maybe the mercs on the 61 will be left gold for a few year - instead of silver
10+1 new streetlites for 35
Ex fast cats scania for 36
8+1 see it do it citaros for loop 93/94
5+1 see it do it citaros for simplicity 61
8306-9 to Riverside for 67/69
(08 Apr 2017, 7:52 am)Michael Cool, i can see why because the 35/36 doesn't interwork no more but Chester will only have 1 route with Citaro's (if the 36 moves over) so it would seem best for the 36 to stop at Deptford... obviously we don't know what goes on in the background though. Why can't a depot start to become standard for a vehicle? Stanley wasn't standard for Volvo B9TL, but it was given 4, maybe more in the future.

(08 Apr 2017, 7:21 am)Dan I wonder if there's a reason for 5332 (BJ10 VUS) not being stripped of Cinders, and partially repainted into the new fleet livery?
574 has been working for Deptford today, was allocated to service X36 however was taken off prior to it's first trip as Deptford destination blinds appeared not to be loaded in the vehicle was replaced by 697 which also discovered a default, as to whether it was taken off or not i'm not sure.
