(05 May 2017, 12:07 pm)Cock Robin What's the point of that when the 03 reg ones are identical?

Stagecoach logic!
Hopefully NE will get away with using what they have when the time comes, but giving 20550 a new paint and vinyls does seem a bit unnecessary.

Well, the above vehicles haven't lasted very long! Surely it could have been more cost effective to buy more new vehicles (which I assume are covered with some sort of warranty for a few years?) than to obtain worn out vehicles from other divisions that end up completely failing a few months after entering service  - including after having an extensive refurbishment?

All three getting repaired currently so keeps it tidy on paper with recent changes. Been off for a while 22580 and 22515, didn't think a second E300 was longterm dead to the world. Sometimes you wish enthusiasts had a say in movements! Useless bags of shite....

If them Kinetics are spare and they're wanting newer training buses around 2005/6 age....

Oh yeah, 35188 landed at Shields. Reserve pool quite possibly now. Although odd when Slatyford are short, even odder when they send 36464 across.

Does anyone know if 35188 has seen service in South Shields (this time around) - or just there for storage?

35188 hasn't entered Service yet at Shields, I believe its getting a tart up before entering service, Though could be wrong.

Last time I seen 34611 was Wednesday/Thursday time, And with 35188 expected very shortly, I wouldn't be surprised if that's its last time in service here, Unless 35188 will not be available for Monday?

Wouldn't bet it will displace anything, 35189 was expected to replace 34605 at Sunderland but both remain in regular service

Had to laugh when i saw it at the top of fawcett st destination gilley law. Who on earth is going to go via Roker and seaburn when u can jump on 3/13.
Is the 18a getting passengers?

I'm lead to believe its one of 22574/79 , As they are the only ones in regular service iirc.

Anyways, Last night's accident resulted in 1 Death and a handful of major injuries/trauma, So id presume that the bus involved will now be compounded for the near future, Like Go North East's 5292.

Thoughts go out to the victims family.

I've only used the 18 twice since it changed but both times, no more than 10 people on it.... The new timetable doesn't really work for me.

Ooo Friend, Bus Friend.

22574 has been dumped at the back of Slatyford for a couple of weeks now minus a ticket machine and part of its bumper so it wont have been that one. Tbf every time I see the 100 22570/81 seem to be the 2 that are always on!

Indeed - mentioned on the previous page that 22574/80 are currently held in reserve due to being long-term VOR, so would have been one of the other three.

Pretty sure if anyone is out and about tomorrow, we'd be able to work out which one it was, based on which one of the three is missing!

Only ones I've seen today have been ALX300s.
