(18 Jul 2018, 11:05 pm)stagecoachbusdepot Fantastic to see another old livery resurrected on the preservation scene. Any idea what's going to happen internally (if anything) - obviously won't be able to get the old Busways seat coverings being open top - will the City Sightseeing branded interior be retained?
Hopefully 674 will go into Sunderland colours - be just like when we had 1218 & 1227 running on the summer 22's.

(18 Jul 2018, 9:10 pm)cbma06 That’s a shame it wasn’t in the Sunderland busways colours, only 675/676 which were the only ones which were based in South Shields in economic livery, wouldn’t look the same as 669 never wore economic livery, it might aswell be painted in T.W.O.C livery

(19 Jul 2018, 8:09 am)RBZ 5459 Not too sure, but I'd hope the City Sightseeing seats are replaced for something a lot more neutral!
674 is privately owned by an events company, won't be getting restored in the too distant future anyway.
671 has a new life as a zip wire platform....
670 and 673 were still stored at Slatyford.

(19 Jul 2018, 6:38 pm)stagecoachbusdepot My thoughts exactly on the seats - will look more garish than ever against the Economic maroon and cream!
Oh I thought 674 was in preservation or something to do with A-line and any photos anywhere of 671? Sounds a bizarre new life!

(19 Jul 2018, 10:06 pm)RBZ 5459 It's stored at THV Felling 674, just rents a space in the unit. It's to be kitted out with a bar in the future, the owner does the karaoke at Cosy Joes in Newcastle - one day it might pass to us at THV!

(19 Jul 2018, 11:35 pm)stagecoachbusdepot That's a shame, but at least they've been saved from scrap for now. 671 looks sad!
Maybe 670 or 673 could still be saved and go into Sunderland yellow and green.

(19 Jul 2018, 12:47 pm)Cock Robin And Economic never had an open topper?
