(07 Aug 2021, 6:21 pm)stagecoachbusdepot So after berries, cherry, violet…they ran out of things to describe colours and just started to put actual colour names and an image of something rarely that colour (silver badger, blue bird… actually Sunderland District bluebird with a blue bird on it might have actually made some degree of sense compared to this). Good to see the extra two brands added though which appear from the route map to be for 33 & 38. So Sunderland and Distrcit covers everything in Sunderland except X-lines X20 and Prince Bishops and Country Ranger and Cityrider, oh and Drifer (yet almost identical route 61 IS part of SD brand), not forgetting corporate liveried 9 (or yet to be revealed yellow brand?) and Peterlee branded X6 and 62 ... Remind me the point of the SD brand family again?

The 5/9 will be standard livery without a doubt due to it interworking.
(07 Aug 2021, 7:07 pm)Michael Hopefully not, it'll then be the odd one out... it could be branded, even if its not "Sunderland District".
(07 Aug 2021, 7:13 pm)cbma06 On that Sunderland route map , it has service 9 in yellow colourGolden coloured arrow maybe...

(07 Aug 2021, 7:11 pm)ASX_Terranova Jarrow Arrow???
(07 Aug 2021, 7:43 pm)stagecoachbusdepot That would break the rule of brand names needing to be largely meaningless.
More likely "Go North East yellow" with a picture of a pig on it or something.
How come Gateshead can use all different colours of paint for the rear half of the bus , but Sunderland gets stuck with the red rear on the bus, I thought different areas will have there own colour at rear , looks like it’s just Sunderland area?

As I don't think it would suit it at all. As I do believe both are being repainted as the 60 is advertised on X6 Timetable as Sunderland District Drifter 60 & Prince Bishops have a new logo type.

I have noticed with several of the recent repaints, Cherry/Berries/Violet that at the front where it says the name e.g. Sunderland District Berries behind that should be the colour of the rear. If you don't understand what I am saying look @ a Connections 4, and then look at a voilet.

(29 Aug 2021, 8:17 am)ne14ne1 Consistency in detail is not a strong point, but maybe that’s due to not using a single design agency.

Does it really make any difference thou - the consistency is that most vehicles have the road stripe surely?
When Peter Huntley was here, all the branded vehicles had a white curve on them from the front wheel arch - this is no different.
