There's no need to reply like that.... He was just pointing out that DRS have been operating them for a few weeks now. The whole sets look quite smart it must be said

I have no problem Tommy, just pointing out.

There's one rake of Mk2s that is still in DRS livery but I think, still refurbished to the same spec.
68006 and 68007 in SpotRail, plus a DRS-liveried spare (004 I think).

It's very good to see the line doing very well. Hopefully it's permanent and not just an initial "novelty". It'll help to pump millions into the local economy there.

Caledonian Sleeper liveried 73966 is heading N through Newcastle this afternoon booked through platform 2 at 1520 but is currently 1 hour 40 mins late

It probably will to be honest.
In understand it will be reinvested too, so it wouldn't be beyond possible that Abellio benefit in some way.

The article has a link to a previous story that stated First paid back £576,000 in the year up to the their franchise ending.
Abellio have met half of that total in the first quarter!

Good news for the Waverley to Queen Street route. Hopefully they'll have more cars than at present, because it doesn't half get busy at peak times.
