It's been a month since our last update, and after the earlier posts, it seemed appropriate that I made some more progress on completing our history archive for each member of the fleet. Following the completion of all vehicles new in 2006, 2007 and 2008, a further 76 vehicles in the fleet have complete "Vehicle History" section notes. Including the vehicles for disposal (which will not gain a vehicle history section) and the ex-London Volvo B7TL/Wright Eclipse Gemini vehicles acquired last year which already have a complete vehicle history section archive, 426 / 587 (73%) have been completed.

With that in mind - still to complete:
  • New in 2000 - 12 vehicles*
  • New in 2001 - 13 vehicles**
  • New in 2002 - 1 vehicle
  • New in 2003 - 5 vehicles
  • New in 2004 - 1 vehicle
  • New in 2005 - 38 vehicles
* I'd imagine that all of the minibuses / midibuses / single deckers in this batch are likely to be disposed of soon, so I will only complete the vehicle history section for the DAF DB250RS/Alexander ALX400 vehicles.
** Optare Solo M850/Optare 2804 and 2805 are likely to be disposed of soon, so I will not complete these vehicles.

All vehicles new prior to 2000 are either non-DDA or due for disposal soon, so I will not complete these vehicles either. This means that there's not very many left to go! Smile

With regards to 7501-13, I thought that these were delivered in December 2007/January 2008, the fleetlists state they were delivered in the July of 2008?

I clearly typed it wrong! Certainly is January 2008 when they entered service, and I'm not sure how it's ended up as June 2008 as I'm fairly sure I did type January 2008...  :s

Sorted it out now - glad I have you lot to proof-read what I've done! Tongue

I'm happy to say that we now have a fully completed vehicle history section for Arriva North East!

Those vehicles new during or prior to 2001 (excluding the DAF DB250RS/Alexander ALX400 vehicles) have a history section complete with the transfers the vehicle has undergone whilst a part of the fleet. I've tried to include some details of repaints, but information regarding these is still fairly limited prior to those completed over the last year or two. I had originally planned to complete the history section for the East Lancs Lowlander bodied Y-reg DAFs, but I'd imagine their time in the fleet is fairly limited so it isn't worth going to the bother.

No photographs have been added yet, nor do any of the individual events in the vehicle history section link to a photograph on Flickr. I haven't even gotten round to doing this for the majority of Go North East's fleet yet, so it's a while off for Arriva. The huge weight to complete this has been lifted off my shoulders now, though, and I can work on adding photographs over time.

If anyone would like to proof-read any of the vehicles I've completed today (new 2000 - 2005), feel free and get back to me to correct them. Today is probably the last day I will dedicate to updating this side to the fleet lists for a while, so best to speak up now rather than later.
