I'm guessing this is something to do with the Leazes Bowl roadworks.

That and the new timetable explain the weird listing of the 22 at stand D at 10:47 on bank holiday Monday!

It's a bit of a pain for me, in some respects, but swapping stands D and J over might go some way to relieve a little of the congestion around stand J.

Wonder if the real reason it's occurred is so that the 6 leaves from the stand next to the 7 and it will not only be closer for people to choose which bus to board to head to Croxdale and I think it may be because of  the X21 being on the same stand as the 7, meaning people see the X21 on that stand before they can see the 6 all the way down on stand D if you enter via the main entrance.

The stands have been swapped at the request of Durham County Council.

The revisions made to the X21 meant that on trips towards Bishop Auckland, Go North East were required to move to a new departure stand in Durham.

The swap of D and J places the 6 and X21 together again.

Yep. That did cross my mind, too. It did seem a little daft moving the X21 away from the 6, stand allocation wise.

I think D is the furthest over we've ever been on the 22. We've wandered around between F and J, over the years, but never been over with the buses heading north, before.

(13 May 2016, 7:18 am)Andreos1 I would have thought the tourist season may have had a positive impact (even slight), on the service.

With services 22/24 I was disappointed to see that they're withdrawing some early evening journeys, but having looked at the timetables it seems as though it's only 1 journey on each service.

It's nice to see an extra journey being added to the 43 on a morning and also for timetable adjustments to make connections better.  It does puzzle me as to why the 43 now departs 2 minutes later on an evening, as does the 46.

The 57A operating down Harap Road, rather than bearing to the left and going to the top of Trimdon Village, should help ease the tight timetable that the service suffers at the moment (hopefully).

Seems sensible, they've been there long enough. Understand they were put there in preparation for the Lidl supermarket opening later in the year, on the site of the current Day Centre.  I'll try and pay attention tomorrow morning to see if they've put timetables up.
