Stagecoach North East: Upcoming Service Changes
Bustimes.org is indicating there's service changes coming up in Sunderland from the Sunday 29 November 2020, looking ahead, it looks like the weekend service is increasing
Example 23 is currently every 30 minutes on a Saturday and will be increased to every 12 minutes.

(13 Jan 2021, 10:27 am)Kuyoyo While not yet posted on the Stagecoach website, Bustimes have timetable changes to all North East divisions from Monday 18th January. This sees services reduced back to the levels introduced on 20th June.Info now updated on Stagecoach website.

What’s the reason for (temporarily)transferring 30/x20 to Sunderland again ? Is it cost savings?
Stagecoach Newcastle services 6,7,X87 & X88 will not serve Blakelaw (specifically Blakelaw Rd and Cragston Ave) after 19:30 everyday due to repetitve vandalism of buses and bus stops etc.., this also affects GTC 32A journies. All services to be diverted. This is until further notice, the situation will be reviewed on a 2 week basis and starts today. (26/03/2021)

By the time the Covid timetables are over, Enhanced Partnerships could well be in place.
