(01 Sep 2013, 8:37 pm)aureolin How many seats do they have though? I'm sure I seen someone mention 30. Making it 3 more than a Solo SR and only one more than an MPD.

Not sure. I mean, the one in the photo has double-doors, so that could be a factor?

(01 Sep 2013, 8:16 pm)BJ10VUS Not strictly Go North East, but here's a picture of the Citaro K in action. Think they'd look nice with the white LED display - although, I thought it was a roller blind to start with! Tongue

Can a bus be described as sexy? Because that is.

Reminds me of the nice looking kit you get running in Spanish holiday resorts

A bus described as Sexy that has made me LOL...

I must admit it is a nice looking bus, I like the white destination display on the front.

What exactly is the Citaro K, is it a new variation of the Citaro or is it actually a midi/mini bus whatever there called these days and is it Mercedes equivalent of an MPD or Solo/Versa, I only ask because I have little knowledge of bus manufacturers and the models they produce, if you put 10 buses in front of me I wouldn't have a clue what they were, the only buses I could positively recognise with having to look it up or think about is a Optare Solo/Versa a Wright Cadet and a Scania, lol...

Going back to the Sexy description, your right about one thing, it is neat and also reminds me of buses in Spanish Holiday Resorts...

So if it is sexy, is it sexy to the point where if it was a Woman all the boys would want a piece and be a bit of a super model lmao Tongue

The new 'Tynedale Express' brand looks nice. Little bit basic, but much nicer than some recent attempts.

We'll be out and about promoting our new Tynedalexpress service tomorrow!

From 07:00-09:30 we'll be moving between Corbridge Rail Station and Corbridge Market Place and then from 10:00-15:00 we'll be covering the Hexham Town Centre area – such as the Rail Station, Wentworth Car Park, Tesco/Aldi, Market Place, Priestpopple and M&S car park.

Pop along and see us!

It looks quite good, but I wish it had stayed in OK livery and they'd persisted with the OK1 even if it had gone down to hourly, as they hadn't given the Middlesbrough extension long enough - it was certainly doing well each time I used it, with 20 to 30 each trip, more than double the passengers on the following Arriva X66.

(02 Sep 2013, 12:41 pm)Daniel Service #27 unable to serve Hedgeley Road in Hebburn due to an incident.
The incident involved a Newcastle bound Crusader branded bus. I was in Black Road, Hebburn at 13.03 yesterday and a Crusader had stopped with the front end in Hedgley Road and the rear in Black Road. 2 Police vans were on site with a PCSO directing traffic on the one available side of Black Road with no access to Hedgley Road. I was driving so I was unable to check what the incident was but the details are now in The Shields Gazette as detailed below:

I imagine 5230 will be utilised. :p

No buses had been used by approximately mid-day today, though a van with a billboard on (http://www.mobile-billboards.co.uk/) did follow the route as was suggested on the above Facebook post.

I did get a photo of 5230/31/32 branded on Saturday morning, but as they were all parked in a line-up, had not noticed they were actually branded! Nevertheless, we got a photo by GNE anyways Wink
5233 is still at Saltmeadows and is expected at Hexham shortly to be branded.
5229 saw use on "Tynedale Links" service 688 today, which is likely to be because a number of "Tynedale Links" branded vehicles are presently VOR - including: 8293, 558 and another which I unfortunately forgot to note.

EDIT:

As you can see, a man (as well as two considerably younger looking females) was out today at Hexham Bus Station in what could only be perceived as a boiler suit with stickers on it, handing out timetables.
