The link says it all!
Whilst everyones first thoughts are with the injured, it appears a number of buses were involved in the incident at the Appollo Theatre last night.
Emergency services are quoted as saying they commandeered several double deckers to take the walking wounded to hospital.
No idea if they were in service and passengers were told to disembark or if they were ordered from the depot to the theatre.
It appears that Arriva London's DW84 LJ04 LFX has also been written off today after a collision with a tree. http://news.sky.com/story/1185331/london...rs-injured
I was fortunate to capture it earlier in the year. Photo here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/aureolindn/8644056786/
Make sure you top up that Oyster card mind!

It's strange, because whenever I'm down there I never think about needing money for transport. Just have my oyster card on auto topup. A stark contrast to up here, where I'm constantly carrying a load of change around.
There were some interesting articles in to nights Evening Standard.
Amongst all the stories, there are pushes to increase services into the city from East London (normally two buses, rather than the 1 other areas have).
There was also a story about the new tube for London (based on the bus designs).
edit
An interesting follow on twitter this week and a follow up interview in the Independent.

Speaking of consultations - just had this emailed through to me from TfL.

Not sure if they tailor their consultations to passengers who use Vauxhall, by analysing Oyster data or if it is sent to everyone - but quite a cost effective method of obtaining feedback.

There seems to have been a bit of a glitch with Oyster today.
Free travel for a period earlier on too.
