I read in an old Beamish brochure (not that old though) that the old Durham Bus Station sign was either given or purchased by Beamish museum and there were going to make a bus station up and put the bus station sign up, i think it was when beamish was going to expand out, but havnt been to beamish for years, has anybody been and seen it or know anything about it?.
I went to Beamish Museum quite frequently in the summer. I loved the trams, old sweets and the (now not-so) recently built fish and chip shop, so it was an ideal day out.
It's actually where my Flickr profile picture was taken!

One of the very first pictures I took of a bus, I think... January 2009! :L
I've not seen anything about Durham Bus Station anywhere though, and I assume my mam didn't either when she went with me (she knows I love buses so she would have pointed it out should she have seen anything). Will be interesting to find out some more info if anyone does know though!
Beamish was going to extend the Town section out and the small bus station was going to be included with the old sign.
Ive emailed Beamish to find out, but let you know on here of the outcome, probably be in the begining of the new year.
