Has anyone managed to get the Wi-Fi working on-board the Enviros used on service 100 yet?
I tried yesterday on two different buses, and to no avail on both occasions.

Connects, but doesn't let me sign in - just like GNE's Wi-Fi on-board their new vehicles purchased this year.

Noticed on the Stagecoach Sunderland timetables they still have:

Most journeys on this service are operated by easyACCESS vehicles. These buses have a special kneeling facility to lower the entrance step. Inside there's a flat floor at the front with a special buggy parking area, and space for a wheelchair.
For more details on easyACCESS vehicles, please visit www.stagecoachbus.com

Also noticed this on the 23 timetable: We always try to run low floor easy access buses on this route. However, we may occasionally need to run a high floor vehicle for a journey

I'm pretty sure they all run lo-floor now.

I do miss the odd Non low-floor bus in the fleet..

I'm led to believe the sale process of the Alexander ALX200 bodied Dennis Dart SLFs is now starting.
Although I can only confirm 33484's sale at present, I can confirm that the remaining ALX200s in the fleet (which have been withdrawn) are to face the same fate: sale to the scrap man.

A yard we're ever so familiar with, 33484 (and possibly others) has been sold to Alpha Recovery.

Went past Slatyford earlier on and theres only 5 darts left against the back fence: 33121,33123,33125,33128,33489. Looks like 33118,33124,33483,33485 may have also been sold for scrap.

Ta Dan.
I did go to Alpha earlier (under the impression at least some of the ALX200s had departed the fleet), although couldn't see any.
Perhaps could have been at a spot in the yard where they could not be seen, I guess.

Every single bus I noted still had 'Stagecoach in Sunderland' logos on the side too.
Not sure if they've been replaced yet mind.

I'm led to believe there will be a Stagecoach North East "Open Day" held at Stagecoach in Sunderland's Wheatsheaf depot next year.
The date is yet to be confirmed, but it is believed that this event will take place prior to the launch of the gas buses.
More details will be given as soon as they're known.

There is also to be an Open Day at Stagecoach on Teesside's Stockton Depot on Sunday 6th April, which is the first at the depot in Stagecoach ownership (the last being in 1985) and in part celebrates the 40th anniversary of the creation of Cleveland Transit and 20 years of Stagecoach on Teesside.

I'm on the 19 and the driver turns around and says, your my first passenger in over 1 hour... how on earth does this aervice still run half hourly?
Not just tonight, it seems to run empty most days with between 8am and 10am and 3pm and 5pm being its main peak time.

Always been a bus for the pensioners.
I used to live over that way a number of years ago (pre Magic Roundabout days), and it was only ever occupied by half fares - pensioners, kids... Very rarely had full fare paying passengers.
Quite like the 8 really, though I do think there is potential for that service to be improved.

Used to do rounds with drivers that I knew when they were on 18/19s... What a dire service. Best thing about it was the amount of layover you had if you kept your foot down.
