When the Economic Bus Company was acquired by Tyne and Wear PTE on the 1st January 1975, a few Leyland Atlanteans were painted into "Economic" colours to mark the 60th anniversary of the business. And guess what is coming up... the 100th anniversary!

Obviously, they will have to release possible information regarding fleet upgrades for Stockton as I know lots of people have been complaining about the Stockton fleet being outdated and that the remaining S/T/V-plate MAN's have to be replaced by 1st January 2016.In what way do you mean 'keeping information secret from the public'

They are to be joined by a further 2 this evening, with 2 more everyday for the rest of the week. There's issues of storage being discussed as there's no room for 25 new buses without getting rid of 25 older ones
