As they weren't ordered by Stagecoach and are't owned by Stagecoach - no other division will be getting Streetlites.

Have the Stagecoach Group formerly ruled out purchasing any Streetlites ever? I understand their orders are predominantly from ADL, but there are times they've looked elsewhere - e.g. the Versas in the North West.

The trial batch of WF Streetlites haven't exactly proved great, and actually produce a worse MPG than the batch of Solo SRs ordered at the same time and delivered months before 43001-9 finally entered revenue-earning service. The only thing they gave was the decision to order Solos with the same gearbox set-up

But things can be done with engine and/or gearbox setup to give better MPG.

Is Howick Retail Park the Franks Flooring Store, Falcon Computers, the Tile Shop and Car Dealer; or the shops across the road?

Hope there's enough gas remaining to get those buses out in service tomorrow...

Obviously something we'd never see in public, but they'll have a business continuity and disaster recovery plan to invoke, as I'd imagine the other operators will have too.

Couple of corrections/additions to the news

34609 & 34612 are also both now Slatyford based.

22063 remains at Slatyford, as does 22215 - the later for disposal. No sign of 22471.

Cheers - will update accordingly this morning if I have enough time before going out for the Metro.

22215 was at Sunderland two days ago: https://flic.kr/p/rdZxgm
AIG20 usually passes the Wheatsheaf every morning going to college - hopefully he'll be able to shed some light to confirm if it went back to Slatyford yesterday or not?
