Anyone know which font was used for the lettering on the Driver Training Vehicles, decided to start doing Paper Buses again and thought I would start with these as they are pretty simple to do.

Not sure if anyone will know, as it is a bit of an odd request (service wise), but on the off chance:

Tomorrow I'll need to get the 19 from Cramlington to Bedlington (and back) any idea on what ticket I'm best off with? Cheers ?

Was just wondering whether it would be better off to buy a return or day ticket Smile

Generally the return is cheaper than the day ticket.

A day ticket would be £6.20 I think, so yeah I'd recommend getting a return.

The return will probably be cheaper by about 40p than the comparable day ticket - that's usually the case.

Just ask the driver when you board what the best ticket is to get, but if you're only making the journey there and back, s/he'll probably just say a return.

I'd imagine the single fare would either be £2.70 or £3.20?
So possibly £4.50-£5.70.

I think it's a really smart looking bus. The Sapphire examples I've seen for Arriva certainly look the part.

Judging by a Tweet by Go North East - it looks like the MetroGnomes will have names, unless I'm mistaken?

Looking at the tweet, I gather 5393's gnome is called Sherbet. He appears to be the yellow gnome. Apologies if it's already been reported or I've taken a completely wrong take on it! Tongue

Edit: Just looked it up and it's some sort of attraction by intu MetroCentre! Had no idea about this obviously, as I'm 5 years old! Wink

Err, yep. It would be a bit strange if you thought that MetroGnomes were just by Go North East. Tongue

Some four drunken muppets dressed as gnomes in the colours of the malls, except platinum, (hmm, that's an idea. Platinum MetroGnome, the Versa could be painted into X66 livery and have the platinum MetroGnome on the front Big Grin ) basically singing and dancing to children etc, like I was only three when I watched the MetroGnomes and I was more distracted by the little trolleys with cars on the front.
