I was on a late running service of the 18 towards Four Land ends, and a Enviro 400 turned up, does this often happen, or does it run off another service, I remember years ago it was always a single decker due to a low bridge in Wallsend, but I believe since then the route has been slightly altered to serve Stotts road rather than the estate nearby.
