(01 Jun 2015, 11:20 am)Dan 3943 is currently at Washington Galleries heading to Easington Lane, if aureolin still needs a photo.

(01 Jun 2015, 12:32 pm)aureolin Back to work this week unfortunately. Sad

I understand you say you're back to work, but to add to this, I've noticed 3943 seems to be allocated to the same board as of late, if this is of any help. It passes the Galleries at the following times:

07:43 to Easington Lane
08:44 to Newcastle
09:58 to Easington Lane
11:04 to Newcastle
12:18 to Easington Lane
13:24 to Newcastle
14:38 to Easington Lane
15:44 to Newcastle
17:03 to Easington Lane

and so on and so forth...

There is a set running board it should be allocated to, but I'm not sure if this tallies up with the times you gave.

0700 #X1 (Newcastle - Easington Lane)
0813 #X1 (Easington Lane - Newcastle)
0925 #X1 (Newcastle - Easington Lane)
1033 #X1 (Easington Lane - Newcastle)
1145 #X1 (Newcastle - Easington Lane)
1253 #X1 (Easington Lane - Newcastle)
1405 #X1 (Newcastle - Easington Lane)
1513 #X1 (Easington Lane - Newcastle)
1625 #X1 (Newcastle - Easington Lane)
1748 #20A (Rainton Bridge - Houghton)

(01 Jun 2015, 12:42 am)a718abb If you are talking about the Re which follows AEC, then this will be the AEC Reliance, a medium weight bus/coach chassis dating back to the 1950's and 60's

Never thought of that - thanks.

4935 looks to be having destination troubles. None of them are working, with a single led lit in the top left of the front.

Probably doesn't have the Washington destinations programmed into it so should only be allocated as a last resort (if thats what Dan said earlier)

The single dot means the blinds are not getting communication from the Controller in the cab.  Probably due to them trying to put Washington's file into a CLS vehicle.

It's been like that for weeks now. When it was at Crook a couple of weeks ago you had to leave the ignition and engine on for about 5mins for it to work.

When u first turn bus on it just has the orange dot in corner , 5mins later it works. Strange one

It was too far to make out for certain, but 4935 looked as though it was heading back to Chester.
There was an old school Solar coming off the A1 tonight about half an hour back.

Evening All,

Has GNE won these NCC routes or just stepping in Temporarily until the Tender process has been concluded?

How many routes have they received and for where? Is it just the School services or have they got any of the normal service routes also?

Why have GNE loaned coaches from the likes of Stanley Travel and Go-Ahead Oxford? Do they have to use a Coach type bus for these services, could they not use a normal service bus, like they do for school services in other areas?

It would be good to see GNE expand further in the Hexham and West Northumberland areas !

Cheers!
