(02 Sep 2015, 7:27 am)buss14 does anyone know if the max buses for x14/x15 will be staying the same or will they go back to what they where branded in the first place.

(02 Sep 2015, 4:53 pm)mb134 I think buss14 was wondering if 7514 and 4659 will swap over back to their original brandings at the end of the summer timetable. (7514 back to X14, 4659 to X15)

I would think they'll stay the same, if only because I imagine a Newcastle to Alnwick run will be busier than a Newcastle to Rothbury one. Plus it doesn't make sense to de-brand and re-brand four of your buses twice a year.

Bit of a strange variation - the 'making your everyday journey sparkle' being next to the main sapphire logo and where it would be being replaced by the frequency.

I saw this today and noticed that it does not include Cockfield on its strap lines unlike the branding on the Captains Tail variant

With branding - or just the new paint job (which was noted quite a few weeks ago)?

If you're handy with a camera, even a crappy one on your phone, that sort of thing is worth capturing if you get the chance.

(02 Sep 2015, 5:35 pm)S813 FVK Bit of a strange variation - the 'making your everyday journey sparkle' being next to the main sapphire logo and where it would be being replaced by the frequency.

Looks like they've placed the 'making you everyday journey sparkle' there because they may not have been space for it above the windows as normal as the location names are longer than the locations on say the 7.

(02 Sep 2015, 6:10 pm)upt50k I saw this today and noticed that it does not include Cockfield on its strap lines unlike the branding on the Captains Tail variant

Wonder if this is so they can promote the 12 minute frequency between Durham and West Auckland and perhaps they didn't want to place Cockfield on it as only two journeys an hour extend to Cockfield and some may see having Cockfield with 'every 12 minutes' next to it as misleading.

Sorry for the late reply to these comments.

1305, 1314 and 1799 have migrated from Darlington to Blyth. Expect these should help release the Sapphire Pulsars that were in use at Blyth to head to Durham.

That's awaiting disposal according to the NEB fleet list, certainly hasn't been in use at Darlington for a good while now.
